I'm not a religious person, but I certainly hope and pray it isn't true as I'm sure the local residents of La Barra do as well. That's just what we DON'T need here: another foreign-owned mega-project tearing up and paving over paradise and spelling the death of a community, their way of life and one of our local treasures. I seriously doubt the good folks at La Barra look forward to becoming waiters and maids at some snooty resort or being invaded by such a project. One thing's for sure, the developers can expect local resistance to such a project, if it is true.
