We have heard of an opportunity to get involved in an investment (land banking) near/in Barra de Potosi.
The brochure (it's a Calgary based company) speaks of development that apparently Fonatur is planning for the area- a marina, condos, golf course, etc. It all said there were recent changes to Mexican laws regarding foreign ownership of land near the coast?
At $23,000 a unit we are wondering if this is a solid investment or not, and also if these things are true- anyone know?

It just came up through a friend and it was funny as we are coming to the area and had a day trip planned to Barra anyway in February.
